7 Essential Oil Blends for Your Nebulizing Oil Diffuser

Diffusing oils is one of the more popular ways you can take advantage of everything aromatherapy has to offer. When you use the diffusion method, you are essentially spreading the essential oils through the air and throughout the space. It is a quick way to disperse the oils.

Pros of Using Nebulizing Oil Diffusers

When you use this kind of essential oil diffuser, there is no need to use heat or water to diffuse the oils as you would with other diffuser types. When you heat the essential oils, they lose some of their integrity and aren’t as effective. Likewise, when you use water, you are diluting the essential oils which again, decreases their overall effectiveness.

Another big advantage of a nebulizing diffuser is that they are plastic-free. The majority of these kinds of diffusers have all glass and wood construction. Choosing plastic-free diffusers mean you are choosing a healthier option for your home.

Some essential oil mixes have been found to negatively react with the plastic which can cause corrosion of the diffuser and its parts. It can also mean that harmful chemicals and toxins can also be released into the air with the essential oils.

However, keep in mind, when using a nebulizing diffuser, you may find yourself using essential oils at a much higher rate. You also need to make sure to clean the diffuser regularly to avoid the device from becoming clogged and inoperable.

Now that you understand how beneficial a nebulizing diffuser can be, let’s take a look at 7 of the best essential oil blends you can use in your diffuser.

  11. Excellent article. You recommended some of my favorite blends. Also concur about the increased usage rate of essential oils by this type of diffuser. It is the reason I only purchase my essential oils in the 30ml and 50 ml size. I have recommended to OA that they sale wooden boxes that can take the 30ml/50ml size bottles. Is there anyone else out there that would be in the market for such a storage box???
